Healing Home for The Community

It is known that during the invasion, The Taíno people of The Caribbean were displaced with over 100 000 people counting, massacred and enslaved. Gaurdians and Humans forcibly taken over to Spanish and Native American Lands by Colonizers of which stated no Taíno remained on the island. What they failed to comprehend that we are of stone, water, sun and existence transcends the human understanding of existence.
Eurpoean Civilization was established erasing our cultural heritage. The continual indoctrination of Religion upon our people invites safety into the hands of a supreme God over our Mother Earth. Today many souls exist dispersed across the globe without recognition of our Mestizaje / Ancestral Wisdom. The Government still fails to recognize that our identity is alive and thriving. Challenges of community displacement without funding, resources has driven us to initiate a home where one may return.
A home for acknowledgement, the community to preserve our traditions and cultural identity, A place for our AreÍtos - events lead by Tainos and for us to thrive in sharing our story.
Our vision of healing is one with the people who believe in the work for generations to come, whilst still embracing our identity. We believe support must be available for those who need it, starting with us. Opening the doors to visitors who will leave healed and in alignment with the value to offer the world a purpose your contributions go towards land stewardship, cultural preservation and healing.
