Mariana’s walk is rooted in reverence to the Art of Remembrance and Revitilization through Culture, Curanderismo, Community + Collective Care.

Her Life’s work has been informed by her devotional studies with various lineages of Anahuac and Tahuantinsuyo, most currently focused with the Shipibo of the Peruvian Amazon.


The return to her roots continues to open her path in alignment with the Vision she carriers for Womenkind as bearers of the Future Generations.


Mariana Mae is native to Coyoacan, Tenochtitlan, Mexico and resides in the Original Boruca Lands of Costa Rica, Abya Yala.

Farhana's ongoing devotion to The Earth has lead her on the path of Ancestral Reverence - A Journey of Rematriating her Arawak roots from Southern Africa down to The Amazons and back to  Kiskeya Ayiti - The Caribbean Sea,


She dedicates her time to uplifting the community in preserving culture, learning from elders and starting Cura Bohio Healing Home. She loves plants, storytelling and sharing wisdom that helps empower and liberate women.


Farhana is Taino, Dominican (Caribbean) and Cape Malay, Indian (South African).
